John 1:1-3 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2. The same was in the beginning with God. 3. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
I've always loved these verses, and they remind me that we believe God is three persons. Jesus Christ is the Word. I'm not sure I understand all the meanings behind calling the Savior the Word. But I will ponder on it.
John 1:10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.
Jesus Christ, under the direction of the Father created the world as part of the plan of the Father. I am grateful to Jesus Christ for such a beautiful world to live in.
John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
He truly is full of grace and truth and I am so grateful for that knowledge and how it feels to receive of His grace. I hope that from all eternity I have worshipped him and that for all eternity I will yet humbly worship, follow, and emulate Him!
