Day 121 Today's reading: Mosiah 20:12 - 21:8

Question of the day: What insights would you like to share from today's reading?

Is the pattern of putting daughters forth in battle to stop an enemy a practice used anywhere else? It happened in Nephi's family and the people of Noah did it to stop the Lamanites. I think it is an odd practice. But it also shows that there was more humanity to the Lamanites that maybe we give them credit for.

I recognize it didn't happen in this passage, but as the leaned upon the king of the lamanites to stop them from coming to battle it reminded me of the times when daughters had been put forth in the past.
