Day 82 Allegory of the Olive Tree Jacob 5:35-48

Question of the day: Jacob 5:41 it says that the Lord wept for his wild trees after all of his work to help them grow. How can you relate that to us?

The Lord of the Vineyard weeping did catch my attention. Later the servant comments on the loftiness of the branches. At that point I wondered if he was referencing the pride cycle that so often has been identified in the Book of Mormon. I have to assume that the Lord does weep as he sees individuals, families, communities, and nations reach the pride and then destruction points of the cycle. How do we counter act the pride cycle, especially as it exhibits itself in our own lives?
