Day 78 Jacob 3:1-14

Question of the day: What does Jacob choose to say 'awake' in this chapter, instead of just repent, or change? What do you visualize in Jacob 3:11?

He wants them to awake, like they've fallen into sleep, or unawareness of what they used to know. He is surprised that they don't remember something simple that the Lamanites do remember. One wife. that's it. I wonder how in such a short time this would happen to them as a people, that they would have forgotten the things Nephi taught them. Or how did they draw out of the scriptures that this was right for them now and it wasn't before.
