Question of the day: Moroni 10:3-5 is often referred to as "Moroni's promise". We invite all who read these verses to act on this promise and to ask God, who is our loving Heavenly Father, to know if The Book of Mormon is a true book of scripture. We know that if you pray with real intent that God will answer your prayer through the Holy Ghost. Please share your testimony of The Book of Mormon.
As I read these verses I was reminded of Clayton Christensen's story. I don't remember all of the details but I remember his commitment to reading the book with the intent to know again and again of is veracity. He would pray frequently in his reading, maybe with each page he read, to know of the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon, to know that Joseph Smith was not a charlatan, even though he already knew it was true. Somehow this allowed him to feel something very special each time he read. My story is not so intense but when I really write and ponder upon the thoughts that come as I study The Book of Mormon, I feel love and gratitude for it. I learn so much from studying The Book of Mormon. I feel its absence when my reading is halfhearted. What a glorious blessing to have the words of ancient prophets who wrote for our benefit. I know it is true for it testifies of Jesus Christ.
