Question of the day: What caused Coriantumr to have a change of heart? When have you experienced a change of heart?
Coriantumr saw that everything had been fulfilled as Ether had foretold. He realized that the words of other prophets had all be accurate as well. I'm sure he had lost a lot of family at this point too. But he was not willing to give up his life for his country, clearly neither were his people. I just wonder what would have happened had he not shared the information with his people and just went on his own and gave himself up to Shiz. How different would the story be. I wonder if he reached the point where he saw that even if his heart had changed his people's hadn't and there was little he could do to change that. He could have also thought, it's too late to reverse this, what's done is done. Very sad tale.
