Question of the day: Why is it important to heed the warnings found in these verses?
Moroni says he has been shown our day, and then provides a number of warnings. These warnings are for us. At the forefront he speaks of starting churches that are to get gain. But we also need to see these warnings at a more subtle and personal level. I have not begun any church, but do I care enough for the widow, the orphan, the needy, the sick, the lonely, etc.? I read these verses as I saw so much of this around me yesterday at church, people who need to be loved.
