Question of the day: How does being anchored to Christ prevent you from from being driven about by the winds of time?
I'm thinking more about Mormon's statement that the people of our day would be dark and filthy and loathsome. The remnant of the people of Lehi become far darker and loathsome by the time the gentiles come to the Americas than they ever were when there were Nephites. The Nephites and Lamanites kept each other in check through many centuries. There was opposition. Once there were no more Nephites, the Lamanites became degraded.
