Isaiah received forgiveness of sin at the time he saw the Lord. What freedom he must have felt in the presence of the Lord. I guess that he was already a very righteous man but that his entering into the courts of the Lord caused him to see clearly his faults. It surprises me also to think that Isaiah was a poet, one who would have been thoughtful about his words, yet he felt his lips were unclean.
