When I see the word 'hiss' in the scriptures I immediately think of the Book of Mormon. If I'm not mistaken there are other specific references to the Book of Mormon and hissing ing the last days.
The Book of Mormon has power to instruct us individually, to chastise us, to give answers to our prayers. I feel the more we are will to take words to be a direct message to us, to take words at face value and have literal meaning for us the more we will see messages in the scriptures we read and study, and choose to ponder.
