Early in the Book of Mormon, Lehi names a place that they stop at by Laman and Lemuel's names and Nephi explains that that is there custom.
Now they've separated and called the new place they are in Nephi.
In the cross-references there are comments about going back to Lehi-Nephi. Does that mean the first place they were in was called Lehi? Do the Lamanites fill that place? Do they later extend further towards Nephi until they have most of both those cities?
