Gesthemane and Betrayal - Matthew 26

I've enjoyed making entries in my journal and then I review them weekly.  It was certainly easy to do that as I travelled. Today I want to make an entry in my blog related to the betrayal of Judas Iscariot and how they were steps prophesied by prophets in the past that would lead to the complete atonement.  We have learned that Jesus' suffering was not in the Garden of Gesthemane alone but also on the cross, I would assume that the suffering began in the Garden and continued in many ways until he said "it is finished" Matt 27:54 JST.  I believe he suffered as he was questioned and falsely accused, as he carried the cross, as he walked by those that had sought his blessing and now had turned on him and spat on him.  From start to finish, he suffered in every way possible, the most grievous and exaggerated scenarios that he would know all kinds of suffering and to every degree. How his heart must have ached that Judas chose to be apart of it.  Jesus knew the scriptures well enough to know it had to happen, and he certainly knew mens hearts and minds (literally), but this meant that he also loved Judas as one close to him.  Forgive him and them for they know not what they do.

And do we not continue to crucify him anew with our sins of today, we betray him when we do not keep his commandments, and he knows our hearts and minds and loves us.
