The people of Ammonihah are taught about the priesthood and what qualified the men to be high priests. This seems fitting after Alma has so frequently used the phrase "order of his Son" and other such phrases that reference the "order". And that order is to follow the will of God. Alma and Amulek demonstrate that perfectly in the next chapter.
