Alma was a good man, and felt what the Lord must feel toward the people of Ammonihah. I wanted to understand how the people viewed Alma, how could they be so rude to someone just for preaching the gospel.

I just read this chapter and was also impressed with the blessing that came as Alma met Amulek. We are told that he received food and shelter, but Amulek also became a teaching companion and most likely, a friend as well. What a blessing that must have been. I've never thought of it that way before, but today those were the thoughts that came to me.
