After giving final words of blessing to Jacob, Lehi speaks to Joseph the youngest. These are words of instruction and blessing just like those of his words to Jacob, but they are also words of prophecy. There are four josephs referred to here if I'm not mistaken the first is Joseph of old who was in Egypt. And most of the prophecy comes from him. But I believe Lehi saw the same vision.
I suppose the first Joesph mentioned is really Joseph Lehi's son, and the discussion starts with him because Lehi wants Joseph to know what will happen to his posterity.
The next two Josephs are those of the Smith family. Joseph senior and Joseph Smith Junior.
